Living Blood is a special variant of normal Blood found in Pathologic 2. If the Haruspex combines Living Blood with a Tincture within the Brewery, it will produce a Panacea. In order to collect Living Blood, the Haruspex must have an Empty Bottle to receive it.

The Haruspex can acquire 2 vials of Living Blood during Act 3 by visiting the village of Shekhen after witnessing the Termitary Dream. He can obtain up to 5 additional vials within the Abattoir, which is available from Day 9 until 07:30 on Day 11.

In order to witness the aforementioned Termitary Dream, the Haruspex must first have administered three home-brewed Antibiotics made with different infected organs and given Bull Blood to the Bachelor.

If consumed by the player, Living Blood will reduce hunger by 20%, reduce thirst by 20%, reduce exhaustion by 20%, and increase health by 40%.

Notes

  • Living blood can (erroneously) be poured onto roots in exchange for herbs, however the resulting herbs do not appear to be any better than those produced by Blood or Infected Blood.
