Knife is a melee weapon in Pathologic 2. Unlike other melee weapons, it cannot be used for autopsy or lockpicking. However of all the melee weapons, the Knife has the highest durability, and otherwise deals moderate damage.

Knives can be bought from Bad Grief, and otherwise looted from containers and bodies. A Knife in poor condition can be found in one of the cabinets in the Shelter on Day 1, and Barley the Barber will drop one if killed. Knives can be sold to all stores and traded to Militia or Dandy in the Soul-and-a-Half Fortress.

Knives are sometimes wielded by bandits, and on rare occasion by generic men.

The Knife is a melee weapon that is available in all routes. However, Knives can only be wielded by the Bachelor and the Haruspex, but not the Changeling. Knives are instead placed into the Changeling's 'Other' inventory.

They may be obtained from muggers' corpses or bought from Bad Grief. They can also be traded with boys for other items.
