• Whilst its Pathologic 2 counterpart possesses a more distinct look and counterpart, the Pathologic Sawn-off Shotgun is a moreso nondescript sawn-off hunting rifle, as its description entails. Its ammunition is a similar nondescript shell-type.
• Its Russian name, самопал roughly translates to "self-made" (Sawn-off).
