Brown Rat is an item in Pathologic. Brown Rats are obtained by sneaking up on rats and catching them by pressing the interact key (default 'E').
The Haruspex and the Changeling can use them for Rat Racing. The Bachelor can also catch Brown Rats, but cannot use them for Rat Racing.
Brown Rats can only be found in infected districts and are usually faster than regular Rats when used in Rat Racing.
